some newbie questions
hi just a couple questions i need help from.
What does exhaustion do? How do you forge a weapon/armor? With the mats you get from looting or do you have to buy? What would you recommend the best combinations are for a R/E? Do movement slowing moves stack? Example: Hamstring + Shard Storm Thank you for your time. |

Exhaustion temporarily lowers you energy pool by 10 for each time you cast a spell that causes exhaustion. It slowly regens.
Weapon and armor crafters will make the desired piece so long as you provide the needed materials and cash. You can get the materials by salvaging monster drops or buying them from vendors or other players. Goto the Ranger board to lookup combos, no need to repeat. I think that only the worse of the two would take effect, but could be wrong. In other words, I don't believe they stack. |

Hamstring and shard storm will stack becuase hamstring causes crippled, a condition, and shard storm is a hex (i think)
imo Barrage Ranger is best R/E build |

http://www.guildwiki.org/wiki/Armor_types there are 2 sources for armor --- have it made by dudes in the various towns from materials that you buy or get by using salvage kits on crap, or you can get various pieces from collectors scattered throughout the land by giving them assorted crap. What would you recommend the best combinations are for a R/E? http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=17 Do movement slowing moves stack? Example: Hamstring + Shard Storm I think the slowing effect might cap out, but I'm not sure about this, and I don't know what the value would be. |

Barrage Ranger - Barrage (Elite Skill) allows you to hit multiple targets for + damage. Most popular, used for large groups of monsters, such as cave trolls. Conditions Ranger - Uses Melandru's Arrows (Elite Preperation) and Apply Poison to keep the enemy on constant health degeneration. My personal favorite. Disrupting/Crippling Ranger - Uses Punishing Shot (Elite Skill) to disrupt the enemy's actions or skills. Use Punishing Shot, Savage Shot, Distracting Shot and Pin Down to keep the enemy without skills and unable to move. this build is mostly used in PvP. |

Yes they do stack. As eom said it does cap out. I think it caps out at 50% speed reduction. |

Skills that say 66% slower make you go 66% slower. Mind Freeze, every runners favourite skill, makes you go 90% slower, and it really does. The 'cap', someone mentioned 66% - I'm not sure, would come into effect when you are crippled and there is a muddy terain spirit nearby for example.
